Housewarming Events

Corporations and individuals throughout the state supported KWWF in various ways. The 2005 events were held to help KWWF raise awareness of the growing energy crisis in the state, as well as funds to help those most in need in their areas. Friends of the KWWF are stepping forward to host their very own housewarmings across the state, and this method of fundraising looks to only grow and develop as a way to reach out to the KWWF’s major donors. Thank you to all who participated!

Rock County Event
ABC Supply Company, Inc. Housewarming Event
Thank you to Ken and Diane Hendricks of ABC Supply Company, Inc. in Beloit for helping start these great new fundraising events by hosting a Housewarming in Rock County. On June 7, 2005 Ken and Diane hosted a Housewarming dinner party at their home in Afton, WI. The goal was to raise funds and public awareness for the KWWF. The event raised $100,000 (without the state match) for the Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund.

Water Technology, Inc./Neuman Pools, Inc./Benvenuto’s Restaurants Housewarming Event
We would like to thank Water Technology, Inc., Randy Neuman, Chuck Neuman of Neuman Pools, Inc. and Brian Dominick of Benvenuto’s Restaurants for their fundraiser in Dodge County in December, 2005. Offering entertainment at the Housewarming was the band Primitive Culture, and KWWF appreciates their support of the event as well.

Shirley Kitchen/Richard Hedberg Housewarming Event
Also, we would like to express our gratitude to Shirley Kitchen and Richard Hedberg for hosting another Housewarming fundraiser, also held in Dodge County. Your event helped raise the awareness of the growing need for The Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund.
