How To Apply For The Fund

Are you struggling with the rising costs of your energy bills?

Applications for the KWWF are taken at Energy Assistance offices throughout the state. You may qualify for assistance from the Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund based on the 2007-08 KWWF Gross Income Guidelines. To find out where to apply, click on the county or tribe where you reside on the state map or list below. The contact information for your area will appear. Contact your county's Energy Assistance office to make an appointment to apply for the KWWF.

Who Qualifies for the KWWF?

Primary participants in the KWWF are those experiencing a significant energy burden where other available resources are inadequate. Participants whose gross income is slightly above Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) gross income guidelines may qualify for supplemental support from the Fund.

Applicants for the Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund must bring:

  • Proof of income for all household members for the previous three months

  • Social Security cards for all household members

  • Current utility bill
